Please Note: These Engine Mods have been tested on ATS & ETS2 Ver v1.35 and v1.36 only.
The Renault and Scania engines should run on v1.37, however, the Kenworth engines will need to be updated for the new v1.37 FMOD sound specification, which will be carried out after the RTA trucks have been updated and released for ATS/ETS2 V1.37.

The range of Detroit Diesel engines for the Kenworth K108 & K200 Trucks (RTA Mods' version).

These engines have been modified to provide a nominal increase in power but primarily with significant torque increases across a broad rev range, resulting in a flatter torque curve. With peak torque coming in from around 1000RPM providing outstanding pulling power, these are also great power plants for hauling heavy loads such as B/Doubles and Oversize loads.
I originally created the DD16 775 Engine mod for use in ATS in conjunction with my EF18HT Transmission (which can be found in the Transmissions section) to enable the trucks to sit comfortably on the 85MPH speed limit on the expressway without having to keep the engine reving up near the red-line to do so. Because of the tremendous amount of torque that the engines can generate at even 1000RPM, this makes for a very relaxed driving experience, and I think you will really enjoy the way it makes these wonderful engines sound!
